Just In: Thugs attack Group at a meeting discussing insecurity in the North

A meeting of Coalition of Northern Groups discussing the insecurity in the northern part of Nigeria was on Monday morning, December 14, disrupted by thugs.

The hoodlums invaded the Arewa House in Kaduna where the meeting was taking place and sent everyone running for safety.

The kidnap of hundreds of students in Kankara, Katsina state on Friday and killing of over 40 rice farmers in Borno are only two of the many instances of recent calamity brought about by the rise in insecurity in the North.

The situation had dominated discussion across the country as Nigerians continue to demand adequate security measures from government.
