The Federal Government had declared Thursday, October 26, 2020 as public holiday.
This is to mark this year’s Eid-el-Mawlid Celebration in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmed made the announcement today while quoting the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregesola.
Bashir wrote:
“The Federal Government has declared Thursday, October 29, 2020 as Public Holiday to mark this year’s Eid-el-Mawlid Celebration in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), Interior Minister, H.E Rauf Aregbesola discloses in a statement.”
