A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole on Friday got married to Aisha Shinkafi Saidu, the daughter of Kebbi State Governor, at a private ceremony that held in Abuja.
Bankole’s former colleague, former Speaker Yakubu Dogara was the Chairman of the day while the First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi was the chairperson of the day.
The bride, who is a lawyer and graduate of the University of Hull in the UK, is also the granddaughter of a former head of Nigeria’s security organization, Umaru Shinkafi.
Musical artistes who performed at the occasion included Timi Dakolo, Joeboy, and Big Brother Naija season 5 winner, Laycon.
