Nigeria is now a manufacturer of vessels thanks to Nigerian billionaire businessman, Engr Ini Ekong Udonwa.
Udonwa who runs a shipping company in Singapore recently completed the set up of a factory in Akwa Ibom for the manufacturing and repair vessels.
The company known as Norfin Offshore Shipyard, is located at No. 1 Norfin Offshore Avenue, East West Road, Ikot Ukpong Obioesse, Oruk Anam LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
According to information on the company’s website, “Norfin Offshore Shipyard is the most modern shipbuilder and in-service ship repairs provider in Nigeria and West Africa.
“We are the Pioneer builder of Offshore Support and Supply vessels such as Anchor Handling, Towing and supply vessels, Platform supply vessels and security vessels in Nigeria.”
