“If my child were among the #KankaraStudents, I would pay” Omokri tells those faulting Govt “negotiation with Boko Haram”

Although the students of Government Science Secondary School Kankara who were kidnapped on Friday, December 11, have been released by their captors, many Nigerians are faulting the action of the government for “negotiating with terrorists.”

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State had stated that no ramson was paid in the negotiation to secure the release of the students, but some Nigerians do not believe him.

Reacting, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri stated that “Everybody should be glad for the release of the #KankaraBoys.

He added, “Ideally, I will say NEVER pay ransom to Boko Haram. But if my child were among the #KankaraStudents, I would pay. Let us be human first, before we are anything.
