See replies Femi Fani Kayode got from Nigerians after he wrote about a ‘wicked son’

Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) may not have anticipated the kind of replies he got from Nigerians after he shared a story of a ‘wicked son’.

According to FFK, someone donated five million naira to a sick man and sent the money to the sick man’s son to oversee his father’s medical bills. Unfortunately the man died because the son diverted part of the fund. At the end, FFK expressed outrage over the son’s “wickedness!”

He wrote: “A man was sick. Someone gave between 4 to 5 million naira to one of his children for his medical bills. Part of the money was diverted and was not given to the hospital by that child. Consequently the man died because he did not receive the treatment he needed. Such wickedness!”

Following his tweet, many Nigerians who replied likened the ‘wicked son’ to every Nigerian politician who have diverted part of the fund meant for projects in Nigeria, leaving the country on its dead bed. They also dragged FFK who was a minister.

One of the commenters wrote: “Oga swear say all the money when them give you to use do work while in office you nor touch or remove some..I can bet you and the man pikin now the same people una be…Wickedness!”

Another commenter. Justin Briggs wrote: “a perfect example of what politicians are doing for Nigeria ,are u wondering why Nigeria is dead? or dying?”
