Tragic! 15 people including 4 girls and 2 boys of same parent killed in Edo

Not less than fifteen got killed in two separate fatal accidents that occurred in Arue-Uromi and Agbede, in Edo state on Friday, January 15.

According to PM News, the accidents also claimed the lives of 6 siblings – four girls and two boys from the same family.

The news outlet reported that one account had it that the children were crossing the road, while another said they were playing football when an approaching Mercedes Benz, in an attempt to dodge a pothole, swerved and ran into them‎, killing them on the spot.

According to the report, the other accident involved a petrol tanker, a Sienna bus, and two other vehicles. It reportedly claimed nine lives, eight male and one female while many people sustained varying degrees of injuries.

In another news, a former deputy speaker of the House of representatives, Babangida Nguroje, recently lost seven members of his family in a road accident.

The accident happened along Akwanga-Keffi road in Nasarawa state on the night of Saturday, January 9. The victims were reportedly returning to Abuja from a trip to Taraba when the tragic incident occurred.
