After months of emotional trauma and depression, 16-year-old Flexy Oftentse, who was featured in a viral leaked video, has returned to school, receiving a warm welcome from friends, classmates, and teachers.
video circulating online shows Flexy being embraced by peers and teachers, accompanied by the caption: “I appreciate the love and support that comes from you guys.”
This return comes weeks after an intimate video involving Flexy and his 33-year-old female teacher that went viral on social media platforms.
The footage, which surfaced last month, depicted the young student in a compromising situation with his teacher.
Flexy has stated that he was coerced and did not consent to the encounter.
His mother promptly reported the matter to the police after learning about it from Flexy’s sister, to whom he had confided.
The teacher, identified as Zvikomborero Makedenge, was immediately arrested on charges of statutory rape and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Court documents and prosecution reports indicate that the alleged incident took place on August 2, 2025, in the Glen View suburb of Harare.
Makedenge, who is reportedly employed in the United States, was visiting Zimbabwe at the time and is said to have been in a relationship with a tenant living in the boy’s family home.
Following the incident, she allegedly instructed Flexy not to disclose what had happened, promising to take him to the United States as a means of keeping him silent.
The 33-year-old teacher is currently facing trial, with the case still ongoing and awaiting a final judgment.
