One of the Christ Apostolic Churches in Ondo, experienced a hoodlum attack as 25 of it’s members were abducted.
This happened on Friday evening at Oke Igan, Akure, Ondo state, precisely. They were kidnapped on the Benin-Akure Expressway around Ifon axis in Ose Local Government Area.
The victims, are members of the church’s choir who were said to be traveling to Ifon for a burial ceremony, before they were reportedly attacked and kidnapped.
They were accosted and dragged to the bush to an unknown destination by the hoodlums, abandoning their initial vehicle.
The matter has been reported to the police station by one of the church members on the condition of anonymity.
It was reported that the vehicle which conveyed the victims was deserted by the road side.
