‘Go ahead and try Impeaching me again, MAKE MY DAY!’ – President Trump dares Democrats

US President, Donald Trump issued a fiery rebuke to congressional Democrats on Tuesday morning, June 24, daring them to launch a third impeachment effort over his recent military actions in Iran.

“So go ahead and try impeaching me again — MAKE MY DAY!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post, borrowing the iconic Clint Eastwood line from Dirty Harry as he targeted progressive lawmakers.

His primary focus was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who called for Trump’s impeachment following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites last weekend. Trump fired back, labeling her “one of the dumbest people in Congress” and accusing Democrats of being allergic to success.

“She can’t stand the concept of our country being successful again,” he wrote.

“She better start worrying about her own primary before thinking about beating our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer — whose career is definitely on very thin ice!” he wrote.

Trump also took swipes at other progressive lawmakers, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), whom he called “seriously a Low IQ individual,” and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who he said “does nothing but complain about our country,” adding a jab at her Somali heritage by saying she comes from “one of the WORST countries in the world — if it’s even rated at all.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who dubbed Trump’s strikes “a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers,” was nicknamed “The Mouse” by the former president in his post.

“We’re just now coming back from that radical left experiment with Sleepy Joe, Kamala, and THE AUTOPEN in charge. What a disaster that was!” Trump fumed, referencing President Biden’s use of an autopen to sign legislation. He added that Ocasio-Cortez should be “forced” to take the same cognitive test he completed at Walter Reed, which he claims to have “ACED.”

The former president also weighed in on reports that AOC may challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) in a Democratic primary.

Trump’s outburst came as the Israel-Iran cease-fire he previously helped broker, came into effect on Tuesday morning.
