The Saudi Arabian government has finally given the approval for Nigerian billionaire businessman, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata to be buried in Medina.
The Dantata family members had revealed earlier that the late businessman had a final wish that his body be buried in Medina, the home of Prophet Mohammad.
In a brief Facebook post, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the deceased’s secretary, confirmed that the required authorisation to move Dantata’s body from Abu Dhabi to Medina has been obtained, opening the door for his burial in line with his last desires.
“Praise be to God, praise be to God, praise be to God. Approval has been obtained to transport Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Medina. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow (Monday) morning, God willing,” Junaidu wrote.
Dantata passed away on Friday night, June 27, in an Abu Dhabi hospital following a brief illness. He was 94.
