Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima and his wife have paid a condolence visit to Aisha Buhari, widow of late former president Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu instructed Shettima to lead the federal government delegation to London to oversee the transportation of the body of the late Nigerian leader.
On arriving the UK, Shettima and his wife paid a visit to Aisha Buhari to condole with her and the immediate family.
Meanwhile, it has been announced that the late former president will be laid to rest in Daura on Tuesday. This was confirmed by the deputy governor of Katsina state.
Buhari died on Sunday afternoon in a hospital in London where he was receiving treatment.
