A corps member identified as Nwokedi Chukwuebuka Gerald, 28, with state code number BA/25A/2069 has been found dead in his lodge.
According to report, the incident was reported at about 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025 and the Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed the d3ath of the corps member who serving in Dambam Local Government Area of the state.
According to the sources, Christian corps members were preparing for church service when they discovered that their colleague did not wake up.
A police team visited the scene and conveyed the body to the General Hospital, Dambam, where a medical doctor confirmed him d3ad.
The remains have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Azare, for preservation. Sources said no foul play was suspected, as there were no marks of violence on the body. Investigation is ongoing.
