A beloved television hair and makeup artist was shot de@d by her own son at her Washington, DC area home on Sunday, August 17, according to reports.
Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, was allegedly shot by her 27-year-old son, Logan Chrisinger, inside her Arlington, Virginia apartment just before 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later di£d, according to officials.
Chrisinger remained at the scene after the alleged murd£r and is currently being held without bond at Arlington County Detention Facility.

Baldwin was a longtime television professional who most recently worked at outlet Newsmax, where she did make up for anchors like Greta Van Susteren.
“What a sadness… my Newsmax make up artist of 3 ½ years, and years at @ABC @ESPN etc and a friend to all her colleagues… was murd£red over the weekend,” Van Susteren wrote on X.
“She did my make up Friday for the show and of course I never dreamed that would be the last time I would see her,” the Newsmax host concluded.
Newsmax White House producer Marisela Ramirez mourned the tragic and shocking loss, calling Baldwin “Heaven’s newest angel” in a heartfelt tribute to social media.
“Renee had a giving heart and a gypsy spirit but really she was a quiet warrior, supporting her family and carrying the weight of a household on her shoulders — without complaints,” Ramirez wrote on X.
She also fondly remembered Baldwin’s habit of playing with her client’s hair as they dished on difficult life situations — saying the professional treated people “with the gentleness of a mother.”
