Odumodublvck Vows No More Collabs with Ghanaian Artists After Eagles’ AFCON Loss

The AFCON 2025 semifinal between Nigeria and Morocco wasn’t just a game; it was a cultural explosion that proved the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana is the “beef” that never sleeps.

Even though Ghana’s Black Stars didn’t qualify for the tournament, they managed to become the biggest talking point of the night.

The Referee ControversyThe tension started long before the penalty shootout. When CAF appointed Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea to officiate the high-stakes clash, Nigerian fans were instantly skeptical.

The drama took a sharp turn into the music world thanks to Nigerian rap sensation Odumodublvck.

Known for his “no-filter” personality, he turned a football match into a career-defining ultimatum.

“If Nigeria loses tonight, no more Ghana collabs. It’s over.” — Odumodublvck (paraphrased from X/Twitter).

True to his word, the “Declan Rice” crooner went on the offensive following the loss, specifically targeting Ghanaian heavyweights Black Sherif and Shatta Wale.

The irony wasn’t lost on fans, considering Odumodu’s massive 2023 hit “WOTOWOTO SEASONING” features Black Sherif.

Ghanaians weren’t about to take the trolling lying down.

Fans and artists quickly reminded the rapper that some of his biggest streaming numbers come from the very collaborations he’s now “vowing” to stop. The banter quickly shifted from penalty misses to who has the better Afrobeats legacy.
