Nigeria has recorded 260 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 12,486.
Surprising, Abia recorded 67 new cases, the highest number of infection the state has recorded in one day, even overtaking Lagos which recorded 38 on the table of states with new cases.
The update shared on Sunday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reads:
