AC Roma open Football academy in Nigeria (Photos)

Italian club “Associazione Sportiva Roma”, popularly known as AS Roma have set up the AS Roma Football Academy in Abuja.

The academy was set up days ago, in partnership with Messengers of Peace Organization.

According to reports, the Italian Club and Messengers of Peace as Consultants have a vision to use soccer as a model to support the achievements of Peace in Nigeria.

The AS Roma Football Academy has therefore announced the commencement of admission of football lovers, who will be trained into becoming world-class soccer Superstars.

In a statement by the President and Founder of Messengers of Peace Organisation, Dr. Suleiman Adejo appreciated the recognition and partnership, with assurance of their earnest inputs towards ensuring that AS Roma FC achieves their vision to improve soccer and expose local stars to international opportunities.

Mr. Robinson Adakosa, the Person-In Charge of AS Roma Academy Abuja and President Garden City Panthers FC will be working closing with Marilyn Peters, the Director of Projects for AS Roma Academy Abuja, alongside other international “A List” Coaches. They however noted that the Academy will be giving out scholarships to talented kids up for free education to university education with partnering institutions in the United States.
