An American mum who welcomed a baby few weeks ago, has called out Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar for stealing her baby photo while announcing the birth of her child.
Actress Halima Abubakar had shared a photo of a mother holding on to her child, as she announced that she welcomed baby on April 3, 2020.
After Halima’s post went viral, the American mother named Ariel with username @the_arielb, who is the original owner of the photo first shared on Instagram on March 13, 2020, called out the actress for stealing the photo and making it look like hers.
The American mom who was suprised to see her baby’s photo trending in Nigeria, opined that they have also become famous in another country.
She went on to share the private chat she has with Halima Abubakar, showing that she was demanding the actress to removed the photo from her page. See the chat below.
The call out from the American woman has however gotten Nigerian social media buzzing and people took Twitter to call out the Actress for using another person’s photos as her. Some even started saying that she didn’t have a child at all after Instagram blogger raised the doubt.
