Appeal Court postpones petitions by Atiku, APM

The Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal has shifted the hearing of petitions by Atiku and the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) to Tuesday, 9th May.

This is coming after locals in Abuja staged a protest in front of the Court of Appeal clamouring for a stop to Tinubu’s swearing-in as president.

The pre-hearing of the petitions Atiku Abubakar of PDP and Peter Obi of LP filed against Bola Tinubu will take place at the Abuja Appeal Court on Monday, 8th May.

It was declared by the INEC that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the winner of the 2023 Presidential election held on 25th February. However, the declaration has been followed by a lot of controversies, troubles and legal battles.
