Prominent Osun monarch, the Akirun of Ikirun Land, Oba Abdul-Rauf Adewale Adedeji II is dead.
According to Daily Post, the traditional ruler died late Wednesday night at the age of 78.
According to reports, Oba Adedeji had been critically ill for some times but his condition worsened after he attended a function on Tuesday.
He was installed as the paramount ruler of Ikirun in 1991.
