A Federal High Court in Abuja has given a new date to give judgement in the suit seeking to sack the Cross River Governor, Ben Ayade and his Deputy, Ivara Esu over their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Justice Taiwo Taiwo had earlier planned the judgment for March 25, 2022.
However, The Nation reports that in court this morning, its was indicated that the judgement would now be given on April 6.
The suit marked: FHC/ABI/CS/975/2021 was filed by the PDP, with INEC, Ayade, Esu and APC as defendants.
