Nigeria has recorded 587 new cases of coronavirus infection within 24 hours. The new numbers bring the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 17,735 .
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported on Wednesday night that Lagos state, Nigeria’s epicentre, recorded 155 new cases, followed by Edo state with 75 new cases.
