Breaking: Southern Governors affirm that Nigeria’s next president must come from the South

Southern governors have unanimously stated that Nigeria’s next President in 2023 should emerge from the southern region.

The governors in their meedingg held today also set September 21, 2021, as the deadline for the promulgation of the anti-open grazing law among its member states.

This was announced by Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor of Ondo state, shortly after the closed-door meeting of the governors.

He disclosed that the forum agreed that the presidency should be rotated between the south and the north and that this should start from the south in 2023.

The governors also reviewed the security situation in Nigeria and commended the military for a job well done.
