Imo Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting at Federal Capital Territory High Court, Jabi, Abuja today, Saturday has just dismissed the petition of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume against Emeka Ihedioha.
The Tribunal ruled that Ararume did not prove that the Ihedioha who is the 2nd respondent in the case did not meet the required spread to be declared winner.
Tribunal also dismissed the petition of Governor Ihedioha and PDP’s seeking to strike out the application of Uche Nwosu’s of Action Alliance (AA).
Proceedings at the Tribunal are still going on.
Uche Nwosu of AA, Hope Uzodinma of APC, Ifeanyi Ararume of APGA had all submitted petitions, challenging the declaration of Governor Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP as the winner of the Guber election.
