Imo Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting at Federal Capital Territory High Court, Jabi, Abuja today, Saturday has just dismissed the petition of Uche Nwosu of Action Alliance (AA) against Governor Emeka Ihedioha of People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The tribunal dismissed the application to declare Mr Nwosu the winner of the 9th March Governorship Election in Imo State for lack of merit. The tribunal also affirmed that Governor Ihedioha met the 2/3 spread required by the constitution to be declared winner.
The tribunal is in recess as at the time of filing this report.
