Popular reality star and Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner has officially declared intention to run for governor of California.
In her announcement on Friday, the71-year-old transgender and Republican slammed the policies of Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), claiming she is “the only outsider who can put an end to Gavin Newsom’s disastrous time as governor.”
“This isn’t the California we know. This is Gavin Newsom’s California, where he orders us to stay home but goes out to dinner with his lobbyist friends,” Jenner said.
