Grammy award-winning rapper, Cardi B who arrived in Nigeria on Thursday evening has warmed the hearts of many Nigerians for being so real and speaking positively about Nigeria.
As if that was not enough, Cardi B went to a Lagos supermarket, waited on the queue and bought provision worth millions of Naira which she later donated to an orphanage in Lekki.
When the rap queen woke up on Friday morning at her hotel room and asked to be taken to see the real Nigeria so she could have the best experience from her trip, many thought she was kidding.
So far, we can say that Cardi B’s visit to Nigeria was impactful and Nigeria will miss her. After her performance last night at the star-studded Livespot X Festival at Eko Atlantic, she will head to Accra, Ghana were the show will continue.
Sharing the photos from her visit to the Orphanage, Cardi B wrote:
“Gotta thank the ladies and the gentlemen that nurtured these kids that need just a little bit of more love and protection and gear them up for a better place ,destiny and future.People like YALL MATTER!”
