Nigeria’s Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, simply known as Davido has join a host of Nigerians to react to the ruling of the Supreme Court which sacked David Lyon of APC and declared PDP’s Douye Diri winner of Bayelsa governorship election.
Putting it in a hilarious way, Davido pointed out that winning an election is no longer a guarantee to be in position in Nigeria as one can still be thrown out through the window after swearing in.
He wrote: “So wait, It’s not even about winning election again.You can actually win and get sworn in and all but then vamoos! Chai
“This government na Cruise sef. The way Supreme Court check mates men no be here these days .”
After that he also recalled how he felt when his uncle, Ademola Adeleke suffered a shocking defeat at the supreme court last year after an Appeal court had declared him the authentic winner of the governorship election which held in Osun state in 2018.
