CNN report by Stephanie Busari and Torera Idowu sat down to listen to Chichi Ogbonna tell the story of how she was raped while she was still a child.
Chichi was among the five brave Nigerian women who came forward to share how they, too, were sexually assaulted. She is an experienced Social Entrepreneur, Gender Based Violence Advocate and Youth Counsellor. She is currently the Project Manager at Women At Risk International Foundation, a not for profit organisation that provides various supports to survivors of Rape and Sexual Assault.
This interview was done last year to encourage victims to come forward to speak about sexual abuse. However, in the wake of Busola Dakolo’s trending rape accusation against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA, CNN decided to share the video again.
