Crazy: Footballer shown Red Card for displaying ‘Jesus Loves You’ during a Match

A Ghanaian player named Samuel Asamoah was shocked to be sent off the pitch during a match for revealing his undershirt which had the writing ‘Jesus Loves You’ on it, Celebritiesbuzz reports.

Samuel Asamoah who plays in Belgium is reportedly is a key player for his side St. Truiden in the Belgian Jupiler Pro league.

The midfielder was celebrating his hattrick in their clash against KAS Eupen which ended in 5-2 win. Little did he know that he wasn’t going to last to the last minute of the game as he was axed for supposed indiscipline.

According to the report, Samuel Asamoah had already been shown the yellow card during the game. After he scored his third goal, he jubilated by raising his jersey to show his undershirt with inscription ‘Jesus Loves You’.

For some reason, the message on his shirt incurred the wrath of the referee and he immediately reacted with a red card.
