How Turkish Students were saved from being kidnapped by Bandits in Kaduna

Students of Turkish International Secondary School located in Rigachikun, Kaduna State have been saved from being kidnapped when they were attacked by bandits.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Mohammed Yerima, in a statement on Friday, explained that the toops of Quick Response Force of 1 Division foiled attempt by bandits to carry out the kidnap.

Yerima said, “Acting on a tip- off on the impending abduction of the school children, troops quickly mobilized to protect the school from the bandits.

“However, while the troops were securing the secondary school, another distress call came that bandits had stormed the Federal School of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Igabi Local Government Area of the state with aim of kidnapping the staff and students. The troops swiftly moved to Afaka and decisively engaged the armed bandits”.

“The bandits were said to have broken into the institution by breaching the perimeter fence of the school.

The army said a combined team of Army, Air Force, Police and Department of State Services operatives are currently combing the forest for the bandits.

  1. It is still very surprising who these Bandits are and from where they come from.
    Maybe we are calling them a faux name and making them look very unharmful.
    How can a group of armed people operating in a manner similar to that Gorilla War Fighters be simply be classed as BANDITS.

    Someone is taking some drastic actions to eradicate them and or someone is making some cool bread out of their operations.

    Our Security Apparel need to brace up and face this monster head on or we allow them to escalate and recruit more men to fight gorilla fighters.
