Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma on Tuesday, Feb 23, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa in Abuja.
The purpose of the meeting has not been made public yet. However, many believe that the meeting may be tied with the recent crises in Imo State.
One of the recent troubles that Imolites have been troubled with is the military operation taking place in Orlu zone of the state, where Nigeria security operatives declared an open confrontation with IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN).
The most recent problem Imolites have been faced with is the battle between the former Governor of the state, Senator Rochas Okorocha and the state over the sealing of Royal Spring Palm Estate which belongs to Okorocha’s wife, Nkechi.
