ELFON President shocks Army Chief, Buratai with a giant-size portrait (Photos)

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai got a moment to laugh on Wednesday, July 22, after he was pleasantly shocked by the President of Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria (ELFON), Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel who presented him with a giant-size portrait.

Buratai who was presented the gigantic artwork, was at WU Bassey Barracks in Asokoro, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for the commissioning of the remodeled NAIC Officers Transit Quarters, facilitated by the Chief of Military Intelligence, Maj.Gen. Sunday A. Adebayo.

However, Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel arrived the venue of the event with the painting of Lt.Gen. Buratai’s Image, an Art work that was today adjudged by the National Council for Arts and Culture as one of the most professionally detailed works of Art in the history of Nigeria’s Art Exhibitions.

Amazingly, on sighting the artwork, Buratai astonishingly jumped up from his seat.

“I remember the CMI gave Godstime my photograph for this but I never expected it to be this perfect. What a great Ambassador of Nigerian Youths he is”, Buratai happily expressed.

Some top military personnel also joked that it was the fourth time the Army Chief, laughed in public since he assumed office.

Other top military officers from the Army, Navy, Air force, in support of the good work, were moved to present gifts to the talented Artist Godstime and made promises of giving him more works.

A joyous Godstime thanked the Chief of Army staff for being a lover of Art and for appreciating the artwork. He also thanked everyone who appreciated his works and vowed to continue making every lover of art proud by doing more great works.
