Former Kogi Guber candidate, Natasha Akpoti sets to marry Uduaghan

Rights activist and candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the last gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Barrister Natasha Akpoti and her heart throb, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, in Delta State are set to marry.

Uduaghan is a billionaire business tycoon and the CEO of Webster Group of Companies.

The traditional wedding is scheduled for March 5, 2022 in Natasha’s hometown in Ihima, Kogi State.

The groom is said to be the cousin of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, former Governor of Delta State whom he also shares same name with.

Akpoti also some days ago received a Rolls Royce as an early-Valentine’s day gift from her bae.

She has been receiving congratulatory messages on the impeding wedding and the exotic car gift from her friends on her social media handles

She has also flaunted the multi-million naira engagement ring given to her by her husband to be.

Akpoti is a single mother of three who contested the last Kogi Central Senatorial election on the platform of SDP in 2019 and lost the election to Senator Yakubu Oseni of APC.

Subsequently, she contested the November 16, gubernatorial election and lost to incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello of APC.

The Alema of Warri Kingdom was recently spotted with the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. Ado Ibrahim. The royal wedding will mark the beginning of relationship between the two kingdoms.

Akpoti has been a symbol of hope and strength to women in Kogi State and other parts of the country after she refused to be cowed by the forces who stood against her candidature in the last elections.

Despite the persecution, smear campaign and physical assault she suffered in the last elections in Kogi State, she refused to back down on her resolve to make an impact in the society.
