Didier Dubreucq, a French man convicted for his role in the 2016 armed robbery of reality star Kim Kardashian in Paris has di£d.
The 69-year-old, who was among eight individuals convicted weeks ago for the high-profile heist, had been battling lung cancer.
Dubreucq was diagnosed during his time in pre-trial detention and had been receiving chemotherapy treatment throughout the legal proceedings.
His de@th was confirmed on Thursday, June 26, by a source close to the case.
The gang Dubreucq belonged to was accused of taking off with jewellery valued at $10 million, including a diamond ring reportedly belonging to Kardashian’s then-husband, rapper Kanye West.
The robbery occurred during the night of October 2–3, 2016, in a luxury Paris hotel.
