As many influencers from the north continue to pour out their anger over the absence of Peter Obi at the funeral of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, a popular Arewa X influencer has now called out the others for being hypocrites.
Earlier, popular nothern influencer, @WASPAPPING had on Tuesday after Buhari’s burial taken to social media to criticize Obi for failing to attend the funeral of the former Nigerian leader in Daura, Katsina state.
Reacting to the post, another popular Arewa X user, @ibrahim_mikayi, pointed out that some other Northern leaders did not attend the funeral and so Obi should be singled out for criticism. He stated that if Obi had attended, the same Northerners would have accused him of trying to politicize the funeral.
Buhari died on Sunday in London and was buried in his home in Daura on Tuesday, July 15 in a state funeral massively attended by federal and statement government officials, including President Bola Ahmad Tinubu, several state governors and many others.
