Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has expressed shock over the death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.
According to reports, Nwakaudu suddenly took ill and was rushed to the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) where he passed on at about 2pm on Saturday.
Although the nature of his ailment was not disclosed, Wike described late Nwakaudu, who hails from Abia State as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of the The New Rivers Vision.
The governor in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Paulinus Nsirim, condoled with Nwakaudu’s family and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.
