How Coronavirus pandemic saved my marriage – Singer, Ne-Yo opens up

It is no news that the Coronavirus Pandemic has impacted the world greatly. To so many, it has not been good. But to American singer Ne-Yo, it has blessed and saved his marriage which was about to hit the rocks before the lockdown began.

Ne-Yo said that the quarantine directive as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic offered him and his wife, Crystal Renay the opportunity to settle their issues once and for all.

According to BANG Showbiz, the star told The Talk that:

“The whole quarantine thing was kind of a blessing. It allowed me the time to lock back in with [my family].

“Before the quarantine happened, we were definitely talking divorce, and the quarantine forced us to sit still, block out the noise from the world — you know the world can get very, very loud, and we tend to let the world’s opinion mean more in certain situations than it should.”

He added;

“We’re actually stronger now than we were before. Now we feel like we can really talk to each other.”

Ne-Yo and Crystal have been married for a few years now and have two kids, Roman and Shaffer Jr together.
