How delegates voted as Atiku wins PDP Primary election

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has been announced as winner of presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku clinched the party’s ticket after polling the highest votes in the election which held at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Saturday.

767 delegates decided the fate of the presidential aspirants jostling for the ticket of the party.

Atiku got a total of 371 votes, defeating other frontline aspirants like Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and a former Senate President, Bukola Saraki who polled 237 and 70 votes respectively.

Votes received by the PDP aspirants.
