Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has corrected Nigerians who have been tagging state governors, Chief Security Officers of their respective states.
According to him, no governor has authoritative control over the security personnel working in their states.
He made the comments while speaking on a Channels TV programme. He said no one should call him the chief security officer of his state because he is not. Instead, people can call him Chief Logistics Officer because that is what he does concerning security, ‘providing logistics’.
