A Nigerian mother has come out to deny giving her infant alcohol after she incurred the wrath of the public following a video she shared days ago.
The woman had come under fire days ago after a viral video appeared to show her feeding her infant with ‘alcohol,’. She now claims it was just a soft drink and was only trying to create social media content.
In a fresh video, the nursing mum said what she gave her baby was a soft drink which she poured into an alcoholic drink sachet.
She mentioned that she posed as if she had given her baby alcohol just so she could create a content that would go viral.
She argued that her baby is only 5 months and would never give alcohol at such age.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Police had earlier reacted to the previous video and condemned the lady’s action, asking for anyone with useful information to come forward so she could be arrested and prosecuted.
