The Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC ) has fixed a new date to continue the collation of results of the governorship and House of Assembly elections held on the 9th of March 2019 in Rivers State. INEC says it will resume collation of results on 2nd to 5th of April.
The electoral umpire has also approved 13th of April, 2019 for the conduct of supplementary election in state.
INEC, however, noted that election had been concluded in 21 state constituencies and will meet with all critical stakeholders in the state on March 30.
