Just in: Nigeria’s first home made ventilators to be unveiled by Onu today

Nigeria’s minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu will today, Tuesday, April 7th launch the set of Nigerian-made ventilators.

The locally made ventilators were produced by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) as part of efforts to combat COVID-19 in the country.

NASENI equally produced mobile sprayers, which are to be used to disinfect Nigerian cities and homes.

A notice for today’s unveiling was released by NASENI spokesman, Segun Ayeoyenikan on Monday.

  1. Congratulations to the Honourable minister, this is the most exciting news i have receive since the outbreak of Covid–19, this a step in a right direction, the FG should channel it strength and resources to establish projects like this, we have so much talents and knowledge in this country, but many times we lay them to dust and embrace almost everything that the west produce, if we continue in this light, i bet Nigeria would have no business importing anything, we can manufacture many things ourselves.
