A Nigerian man shared his experience of losing a bag containing his MacBook while in Kigali, Rwanda.
According to him, the cab driver confidently told him, “If you are sure it came into Kigali, you will find it.” True to his word, they returned to the airport five hours later and found the bag untouched at the exact spot he left it.
He noted that the driver kept praising Rwanda’s security system, insisting that “they don’t steal.” The man admitted that the “Lagos boy” in him was expecting the worst — but was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong.
His final words? “Omooooo.”
