Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has recounted how rough her growing up was and how her mother sold her plane ticked to be able to pay her primary 6 school fees.
The ‘Woman of Steel’ and Shekere crooner, added that those days are behind them now and today they fly business class.

In an Instagram post, Yemi Alade shared a photo with her mother in London and wrote:
“London is more than just a city to my family, it marks a time in our lives (20 years ago) when mum had to sell her economy class ticket to pay my primary 6 school fees.
“Today we fly business class! Next stop #amsterdam,” she added.
