Flying Officer OO Oke has become the first female pilot to fly solo on the L-39ZA in the history of 403 Flying Training School Kano.
In a video shared online, the Nigerian Air Force pilot identified as Flying Officer OO Oke was spotted flying the L-39ZA.
In the video, which was posted on Twitter by @Jakepor21, Oke could be seen flying solo on the L-39ZA, becoming the first female pilot to do so in the history of 403 Flying Training School Kano.
Nigerians took to the comment section of the post to congratulate Flying Officer Oke on her achievement. They also recalled the dark cloud that hovered over the nation when Flying Officer Arotile died, and prayed that Oke will live long in her chosen career.
