Lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has predicted ahead of the 2027 general election, that no Southern presidential candidate can defeat President Tinubu except former President Goodluck Jonathan.
In a post shared on his X handle, Adeyanju said the best ticket from the coalition group to defeat Tinubu in the 2027 election should be a Goodluck Jonathan/Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket or a younger Northerner paired with Peter Obi. He argued that Atiku will not excite the younger voters and so might lose their votes.
This prediction has sparked a debate online with many arguing for or against his submission.
