PDP National Chairman, Secondus visits Dino Melaye after his fatal Guber lose

Prince Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) paid Senator Dino Melaye a visit at the Senator’s residence.

The reason for the visit has not been made known yet. However, the visit came days after Dino Melaye lost the PDP governorship ticket in Kogi state to Musa Wada.

Chairman of the Electoral Committee, the Adamawa State Governor Ahmad Fintiri, declared Musa Wada winner of the PDP governorship primary election in Kogi.

Wada secured 748 votes, with Abubakar Ibrahim, son of a former governor of the state, polling second with 710 votes.

Immediate past governor of Kogi, Idris Wada, polled 340 votes to place third in the election while Dino Melaye was a distant fourth with 70 votes.

“It is ridiculous to declare a final result of PDP governorship primary election in Kogi State when my votes sorted out yesterday in 8 out of 10 ballot boxes are missing. Only to declare votes in 2 out of 10 ballot boxes as my votes. Totally unacceptable,” Melaye fumed, while declaring the election rigged and a sham.

Dino Melaye has rejected the the outcome of the election and also filed a petition to the National Secretariat.
