A group of women on Thursday stormed the Federal High Court in Abuja to demand the immediate release of the #RevolutioNow convener, Omoyele Sowore
While protesting, the elderly women removed their blouses, revealing only their bras to drive home their demand.
According to the women, Sowore their ”son,” had not committed any crime, therefore, President Muhammadu Buhari should order his immediate and unconditional release from the detention of the Department of State Services.
Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare have been in DSS detention since August 2019. They have been granted bail two times and have, each time, met met their bail conditions. Yet, the government’s secret police has refused to obey court orders and release them.
Today, Thurday, the court has once against again, ordered their release and gave the DSS 24 hours to comply.
