Polish FA have announced they “do not intend to play” their World Cup qualification decider against Russia next month after over the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

“No words, time to act!” Polish FA president Cezary Kulesza tweeted Saturday – adding, “this is the only right decision.”

Lewandowski added, “Russian footballers and fans are not responsible for this, but we can’t pretend that nothing is happening.”
